Last year, Brun Philippines conducted a survey. We like to call it a “pop survey” because we do not pretend that our survey matter. We asked our readers whom they want to be the next president of the Philippines. We only included four candidates in our first survey namely Jejomar Binay, Chiz Escudero, Grace Poe and Mar Roxas, plus a “none of the above” option. Grace Poe topped that survey. We decided to expand the choices so we added a few people whom we thought are “presidential” or they may run or may be compelled to run for president.

With just less than 800 days before the next presidential election, surprisingly (or perhaps not), Senator Bongbong Marcos is currently leading in our survey with 221 votes.  Senator Miriam Santiago is second with 217. The rest are trailing far behind. Only 787 people have voted as of March 1, 2014 so our survey does not really hold much water; still, it does make you wonder because the bulk of our readers belong to the 25- to 35-age bracket. Despite the negative press that the Marcoses have received from their opponents, the Marcoses might rise to prominence, honor and prestige once again, if they have not done that already.

However, Blogger survey is not reliable because a person can vote multiple times if he just clears the “cookies” from his browser. Since many of our readers are taking our “pop survey” seriously, we decided to use a more reliable survey provider and start from zero. Micropoll restricts voting to one person only and send us IP logging report so we can cancel multiple votes from one IP address. Let us see if Marcos Jr. will still take the lead or Santiago will overtake him. We also added Panfilo Lacson in our latest survey.

The results. Micropoll survey ended on October 31, 2015

Our old survey, which we decided to discontinue on March 1, 2014 to give way to a more expanded list and more reliable survey provider.

  1. Bong Bong Marcos, Man of Action. Ilocos Norte. ISO CERTIFIED. No need to say more.

  2. No doubt on the expected result of the survey, after all no one among the listed probable Presidential candidates can ever equal the achievements of Sen. Bongbong Marcos since he first started to serve an elective position.

  3. No doubt on the expected result of the survey, after all none among the probable 2016 Presidential candidates an ever equal the achievements of Sen. Bongbong Marcos since he first held the elected public office, and among the listed would-be candidates Sen. Bongbong is more than qualified and most ready to hold the highest elective post.

  4. Solid north is becoming solid again for bongbong marcos.its time to join the shout of the north.

  6. This survey is believed to be the most realistic and free of any manipulation whatsoever, as any Filipino who has access with internet may easily vote, the process that is not available in any other surveys conducted by paid and commissioned survey agencies.
