Phrasal Verbs Comics #2: Chip in

 

Chip in: To contribute something (usually money or effort) with others. Example sentence: "We all chipped in to buy a cake for her birthday."

French:
cotiser (for money), donner un coup de main (for help)
Spanish: contribuir / poner dinero entre todos
Japanese: お金を出し合う or 協力する
Korean: 돈을 모으다 / 함께 내다
Chinese (Simplified): (for money) / 出力帮忙 (for effort)
Portuguese (Brazil): contribuir / ajudar com algo
Vietnamese: góp tiền / góp sức
