1. COMES IN – (Appear
or be classified in a particular way).

Example:

2. HANG ONTO – Hold
tightly; keep something secure
tenir fermement, 紧紧抓住, 꼭 잡다, しっかり持つ.
Example: “Hang
onto your hat in the wind.”
(Tiens bien ton chapeau
dans le vent.)
(在风中紧紧抓住你的帽子。)
(바람에 모자를 꼭 잡아.)

3. JOT DOWN – Write
quickly or briefly
noter, 记下, 간단히 적다, 書き留める.
Example: “I
need to jot down my ideas quickly.”
(Je dois noter mes idées
rapidement.)
(我需要快速记下我的想法。)
(나는 내 아이디어를 빨리 간단히 적어야 해.)
(私はアイデアをすぐに書き留める必要があります。)
4. HOLD ONTO
– Keep or retain something firmly
garder, 抓住, 붙잡다, しっかり持つ.
Example: “Hold
onto your dreams and don’t give up.”
(Tiens à tes rêves et ne
renonce pas.)
(抓住你的梦想,不要放弃。)
(꿈을 붙잡고 포기하지 마.)
(夢をしっかり持ち、諦めないでください。)
5. STRESSED
OUT – Feeling anxious or overwhelmed
stressé, 压力大, 스트레스를 받는, ストレスが溜まっている.
Example: “She
feels stressed out before exams.”
(Elle se sent stressée
avant les examens.)
(她在考试前感到压力大。)
(그녀는 시험 전에 스트레스를 받는다.)
(彼女は試験の前にストレスが溜まっています。)
6. DOUBLE-EDGED
SWORD – Something that has both positive and negative effects
arme à double tranchant, 双刃剑, 양날의 검, 二刀流の剣.
Example:
“Social media is a double-edged sword.”
(Les médias sociaux sont
une arme à double tranchant.)
(社交媒体是一把双刃剑。)
