LESSON: GENERAL ENGLISH
Topic: “Money” (B1 Level)
Goal: improve listening, speaking, and vocabulary

Vocabulary
A. spend our money wisely
(phrase) – to use money carefully on things that are necessary or valuable. Example: She spends money wisely by comparing prices before buying anything. Q: Do you spend your money wisely?

B. investing
(gerund) – the action of putting money into something to make a profit. Example: Investing in stocks can be a way to earn more money.

C. loans
(noun) – money that someone borrows and must pay back. Example: She took out a loan to pay for her college education.

D. worse
(adj) – more bad than before. Example: His cold got worse, so he decided to see a doctor.

E. retirement
(noun) – the time when someone stops working, usually because of age. Example: My grandparents looked forward to their retirement to travel more.

F. trade
(verb) – to exchange one thing for another. Example: He traded his sandwich for my apple at lunch.
