Readers' Survey: Top Ten Filipino Films and Performances of 2014.

For latest updates, click this

About 35 days left before 2014 ends. Is 2014 a great year for Filipino films or not? What do you think?  One big film festival remains: the ominous Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), which is more of a carnival of commercial films than anything else. Still, MMFF’s New Wave section always offers one or two gems every year so there is still hope.

Brun Philippines would like to ask our readers and other cinephiles regarding the best films and performances of the year so far.  In your opinion, what (who) are

[1] The top 10 best films (and directors) of the year,
[2] The top 10 best screenplays,
[3] The top 10 leading performances (regardless of gender) and
[4] The top 10 supporting performances (regardless of gender)

Thank you very much for sharing your choices. You do not need to give exactly 10; fewer than 10 would suffice.

Post your choices on the comments below.
