Poetry: "Sonnets by a Foolish Boy" by Rob San Miguel

#1

One day, I’ll find the words so pure and true,
Unburdened light, like morning’s softest hue.
They’ll not demand, nor seek a quick reply,
But speak of love that never asks us why.

No need for answers, no return to claim,
Just tender love, unspoken, yet the same.
From cruel heart’s design, I’ve learned to show
I love thee for the parts I do not know.

One day, my voice will fade, no sound to break,
And only actions will my love awake.
In silent truth, I’ll prove my heart’s pure grace,
And bear the weight of love in every space.

Do not lament when words at last depart—
For in my deeds, you’ll find my truest heart.

(Panitikan) "Hakbang" at Iba Pang Mga Tula ni Leo Ricafort Pura

Hakbang
Ika-17 Nobyembre 2015

Dahan-dahang pagmulat
ng mga matang tanging ikaw
ang ibig mamasdan.
Dito sa lamig ng damuhan
habang nakahiga sa pagod,
sa wala na nga bang kabuluhang paglalakbay,
galing sa kung saan
sa patutunguhang di na alam.
Dahil sabi mo ng walang
pasintabi na paalis ka na.
Para kanino pa ba gagalaw,
huhugot ng hininga,
kikibot ng labi?
Kung sa patuloy na pagbago ng panahon
ay di ka na makikita,
di na mayayakap nang biglaan
habang nagkakantahan,
O mahahalikan kahit sa pisngi lang, kaibigan.
Sana bago ka lumisan
at iwan itong hindi pa nasisimulan
ay matulungan akong muling makakilos,
makarinig, makangiti.
Mamutawi sa mga labi
ng walang kurot sa puso
ang pansamantala lang sanang pamamaalam,
at hindi ang tuluyan nang katapusan
ng paghakbang.

Tula (Poetry): Mga Tula ni Christian Niel D. Casita

Ang Pagtatapos

Sa tuktok ng burol
Ako ay tumindig
Tanaw ang mga lubak,
Mga piraso ng alaala
Tumingala ako, lumingon, yumuko
“Bakit ako nandito?’ tanong sa sarili

Napapaligiran ng alikabok
Ang mga nilimot na pangarap
Mga salita at pangako
Ay nakalutang sa kawalan
Mga taon na ating binilang
Ngayon ay nakahimlay na..
Wala na..
Wala na akong maramdaman.

Poetry: Three Poems by Gabriela Alexandra C. Tayag

Here Lie the Words

Tonight, I weep for the words that died
In silence.
Small utterances I muttered
In obsolescence.

I weep for the little laughs that I suppressed
That turned to shivers when you glanced;
When my reflection in your eyes
            Has borne intrepid alluring lies.

I weep for the tiny tears that trickled down
That glazed my body as we danced
To the melody that only I could hear,
To the beat that pierced my veins with fear.

I weep for the whispers that my lips have sealed
While in your voice I was entranced,
As you unleashed your soul into my universe
I helplessly succumbed to this amorous curse.

I weep for the truth between the lines I spoke
That froze and passed upon a chance;
For as of old, some stories would be left untold
In your eyes, my love, my story never will unfold.

For I have crushed the words tonight,
In silence,
And the echoes drowned
In obsolescence.
